Aamir Khan departs for a 10-day meditation retreat in Nepal while taking a break from acting

Aamir Khan is utilising his break from films after the release of Laal Singh Chaddha last year and has now reached Nepal for a meditation programme.

While taking a vacation from acting, Aamir Khan has now travelled to Nepal to participate in a ten-day vipassana meditation camp. The actor will take part in a programme at the Budhanilkantha Vipassana Meditation Centre, around 12 kilometres outside Kathmandu. It is regarded as one of the most well-known meditation centres in Kathmandu.

Aamir had previously stated that he would take a significant sabbatical from acting following the release of Laal Singh Chaddha last year. He has not made any new projects public. However, he occasionally makes appearances at movie, community, and social events. He was spotted at Arpita Khan’s Eid bash and also at the inauguration of National Conclave on Mann Ki Baat @100 in Delhi last month.

Aamir spoke about taking time off for himself at an event in Delhi in November of last year. He has claimed, “As an actor, I am so engrossed in a picture that nothing else happens in my life. After Laal Singh Chaddha, I was meant to star in a movie called Champions. This uplifting and nice movie has a fantastic script and a good story. But I feel like I need a break and want to spend time with my mom, my kids, and my family.

“At this point, I feel the need to take some time off to be with them and genuinely live a different kind of life. I’m eagerly anticipating the upcoming year and a half of not working as an actor, he had added.
