Disney+ Hotstar web series ‘Masoom’, featuring Boman Irani, Samara Tijori and Upasana Singh among others, is now streaming on the platform.
Anand Bhaskar Collective discussion about making the collection for the most recent suspenseful thrill ride series ‘Masoom’. The series highlights Boman Irani, Samara Tijori, Upasana Singh, Manjari Fadnis, Veer Rajwant Singh, and Manurishi Chaddha.
The album has four melodies named, ‘Jogiye’, ‘Faqueera’, ‘Laila Majnu’ and ‘Vichhda’. Going in the Punjabi folklore genre, the collection’s melodies have been written by Ginny Diwan.
The verses have been voiced by Madhubanti Bagchi, Anand Bhaskar, Jatinder Singh, Shilpa Surroch, Piyush Kapoor and Romy.
Bhaskar said, “Translating the melodic quintessence of ‘Masoom’ inferable from its special storyline was not a simple undertaking, but rather my collection with Mihir Desai paid off. Our considerations were in sync regarding the direction we wanted to take with the title song.”
“Through the songs, I needed to take advantage of the crude entertaining nature of Punjabi folklore and construct an expressively significant and sweetly enthralling soundtrack that highlighted human connections,” he says.
Irani likewise added, “‘Masoom’ conveys areas of strength for a surface which Anand Bhaskar Collective’s music has impeccably supplemented. The entrancing lyrics of the songs contact your heart and guarantee you.”
“At the point when I saw the last edit of the series and perceived how flawlessly it met up with the music, I was glad for what we brought before the crowd,” he closed.
‘Masoom’ is set in Punjab. The series, directed by Mihir Desai and helmed by Gurmmeet Singh. It is an Indian version of the award winning Irish series ‘Blood’, exploring family ties and misdirection subsequent to losing a friend or family member.
