BMW Teases the Most-Awaited 727 HP M5 Touring Wagon

The new BMW M5 Touring, a high-performance wagon that combines electrification with M power, has been formally unveiled by BMW. At this year’s Monterey Car Week in California, this new vehicle will make its global debut.

With its cutting-edge M HYBRID drive system, the BMW M5 Touring generates 727 horsepower and 737 lb-ft of torque by combining an electric motor with a potent 4.4L V8 engine. With this combination, the M5 Touring can reach 60 mph from 0 mph in under 3.6 seconds and have a 42-mile electric-only driving range, according to the WLTP cycle.

The M5 Touring’s versatile design makes it perfect for both daily use and extended excursions. It has an ample amount of inside space and a load capacity that can be expanded from 500 to 1,630 liters. With elements like huge air intakes, a newly designed kidney grille with BMW Iconic Glow contour lighting, and a sculpted tail end with a two-section diffuser and quad exhaust tips, the exterior design is defined by sporty proportions.

Dynamic performance and ride comfort are balanced thanks to the chassis technology of the vehicle, which includes adaptive M suspension and M-specific tuning. Modern technology, including the newest BMW iDrive system and 5G connectivity, is also included in the extensive array of driver support systems that the M5 Touring is outfitted with.

The new BMW M5 Touring is expected to be a noteworthy addition to BMW’s high-performance lineup when it goes on sale in November 2024. Although pricing information is still pending, BMW has stated that Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom are important markets.
