The Google Developer Program was introduced by Google in an effort to facilitate developers’ use of Google’s developer services.
On various of its websites that have developer-facing features, such Google for Developers, Firebase, and Google Cloud, it will grant developers access to an AI chat interface. With explanations of the code snippets included in the documentation pages, they will be able to learn more as a result. Together with these features, developers can produce sample code, test Google APIs before using them, and ask questions about the tools.
In addition, five workspaces in Project IDX—a cloud-based workspace for cross-platform development—will be accessible to members in the developer program. This gives developers access to three more workspaces, compared to the usual two that they can establish.
Applications will be available for participants to join Google sponsored groups, which are groups of developers working on related projects. Furthermore, these groups have access to exclusive events and resources.
Additionally, members have the option to sign up for Google Cloud Innovators, an interactive learning platform where they may try out new cloud abilities, in order to obtain lab credits in Google Cloud abilities Boost. These credits can be applied to any cloud-based learning program that the business.
Anyone who wants to become a developer can join the Google Developer Program for free. They just need to make a developer profile and add their subjects and interests if they don’t already have one.
“You can customize your learning path according to your interests, manage your assignments, monitor your advancement, obtain badges, and showcase your accomplishments with a profile,” stated Chris Demeke, Google’s senior product manager, in a blog post.
Google says that during the course of the next few months, the program will receive additional features and options.
