Shubman Gill, a cricket player, will take on the role of Pavitr Prabhakar in the June release of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse in Hindi and Punjabi.
The Indian Spider-Man, Pavitr Prabhakar, is anticipated to make his debut in the upcoming animated sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Shubman Gill will play the Indian Spider-Man in the Hindi and Punjabi versions, while Karan Soni will voice Pavitr Prabhakar in the English version. The cricketer expressed his excitement to take on this new task and revealed that he had grown up admiring the character.
The statement was accompanied by a humorous video that had numerous individuals requesting an unidentified Shubman to descend while facing the ceiling. One individual remarks, “Does he think he is Spider-Man? Khud ko Spider-Man samajhta hai.” They are, in fact, holding out for him to enter the recording booth. He lands with the heroic flourish of a superhero and utters the idiom, “With great power comes great responsibility.”
English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam are the 10 languages in which Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be theatrically released in India on June 2.
