With the introduction of the Galaxy S24 series earlier this year, Samsung officially entered the AI era, and now the company’s AI technology is making its way into TVs. On April 17, Samsung is going to launch the Neo QLED 8K and more line of TVs in India, with features powered by artificial intelligence (AI). Additionally, the company has started accepting preorders for the next TVs.
The significant AI-related announcements made by Samsung earlier this year coincide with the impending release of AI televisions. In January, Samsung introduced Galaxy AI for its Galaxy S24 series smartphones, and earlier this week, it unveiled Bespoke AI for its home appliances.
This year, AI will be used to power Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, and OLED series. Samsung hasn’t yet provided information on the specifics of these AI features or how they’ll operate on the TVs.
India’s Preorders for Samsung AI TVs are now Open
Samsung has also started taking early orders from consumers interested in buying its new range of AI TVs in India. Consumers can pre-order Samsung’s new AI TVs by paying Rs 5000 on Samsung.com and the Samsung shop App. Customers who pre-order Samsung’s new AI-powered TVs will be eligible for early access special on their purchase.
Customers who pre-order the Neo QLED 8K Series (75 inches and up) will receive benefits totaling Rs 15,000 on their purchase; those who pre-order the Neo QLED 4K & OLED Series will receive benefits totaling Rs 10,000.
Regarding Samsung’s latest venture into the AI space, the company asserts that customers can save a significant amount of money on their electricity bills with its Bespoke AI series of home appliances. Samsung asserts that its AI Energy Mode can reduce electricity bills by an average of 30% by delivering energy efficiency across a range of appliances.
