Many know Antwerp as the port city of Belgium, but recently people have been looking it up as it is the birthplace of the young and talented hip hop artist Shah. Shah is a modern-day hip-hop artist and the rapper from Borgerhout, Antwerp in Belgium. Born on the 11th of February, in the year 2000 Shah is just 21 years old and has already become famous in the music world. This is not an easy feat to achieve, since the music industry as of now is extremely competitive and doesn’t let newcomers in so easily.
On being asked about Shah’s education qualification, he replied that he didn’t like the idea of going to school, so he stopped going while he was in secondary school. He always wanted to learn things on his own. Shah believes that School never teaches you about your life, surroundings or how to deal with a situation, they just teach you how to get a job and work hard to get paid.
Shah is motivated by one of the best American rappers Tupac Amaru Shakur. He is better known as Tupac by his stage name. He is an American rapper songwriter and actor and is widely considered one of the most influential rappers of all time. Shah looks up to him not only in his professional career but also respects his decisions and tries to emulate those morals in Shah’s personal decisions. Apart from Tupac, Shah’s favourite star is Eminem, another American rapper. Marshall Bruce Mathers III, known professionally as Eminem is one of the bestselling music artists of all time with an estimated worldwide sale of over 220 million records.
Shah being influenced by these two great American rappers chose music and rap as his career very early on as a child and decided to dedicate his entire life to words music. But he believes in having freedom in everything. He loves his freedom of life. And he says he himself is his mentor. He does not like to take orders or advice from others. Shah since the very beginning wanted to be a rapper and loved music. Shah is full of energy and fire, always ready to do something, he is available 24 by 7 and he is his own boss. He tries to do his best in whatever he does and is humble. Another characteristic of Shah’s personality that has helped him be so successful is he a very disciplined person. Even if one lacks motivation, their disciplined behaviour will keep them going in their journey. Being disciplined is one of the most important things in life.
