How did you get into startups?
In my mid 20’s, I started a simple auto detailing business called “WaxMaster,” which became a test tube of sorts for my home service businesses. After losing my job unexpectedly, I decided I didn’t want to rely on anyone else for a paycheck so I went all-in on the startup world. Since then, I’ve started over 20 companies.
If you could start over, what would you do differently?
I’d start my first business while in college instead of waiting. I could’ve been a lot further ahead had I started earlier.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Don’t do it alone. There’s nothing wrong with seeking out the support of others when you need it, whether that’s mentorship or finding a business partner.
