Three people have died in a taking shots at a dairy cattle property close to the north Queensland town of Collinsville, police have affirmed.
Police said they found three bodies and a crime location in the distant country area.
A man who was taken to Mackay base hospital prior told police he and three others had been shot.
He was found in a vehicle at Flagstone with a shot injury to the midsection not long after police were advised around 9am on Thursday. The man was transported to the hospital in a basic condition where he was going through crisis emergency surgery.
