Meta-owned instant messaging service WhatsApp has undergone several adjustments. The business first revealed several new tools and features, including generations of Al stickers and a redesign of the look. “WhatsApp will introduce a new Al-based feature that will let users create their own profile picture.” This additional functionality is expected to improve the app’s personalization.
WhatApp Al Profile Picture Creation
Al-powered profile photographs will be a new feature that WhatsApp is reportedly working on, according to a WABetaInfo report. The Android 2.24.11.17 beta version of WhatsApp recently revealed the feature. The article stated, “It appears that WhatsApp is dedicated to introducing additional Al features aimed at enhancing user interaction and offering a more personalised experience.”
With this new tool, users should be able to express their creativity and create visually appealing profile photographs that reflect their interests, personalities, or moods. The users will have to provide the Al image generator with a text prompt based on the uploaded screenshot, and it will generate a unique profile photo based on the detailed prompt. It was additionally stated that “Instead of spending time searching for or taking the perfect picture, users can simply generate one by providing a prompt.” It was not made clear, though, which Al model WhatsApp is using to this capability. Furthermore, as the feature is still in development, there is no set timeframe or date for its release; consequently, Meta may include it in upcoming releases.
Benefits of Al’s Profile Image
Many people don’t want to publish their photos on WhatsApp or social media sites. Because to privacy concerns, tricksters might make improper use of the photos. “This will allow users to leverage Al profile image generating to create a completely new version of themselves.” But be aware that there is a function in WhatsApp that stops your contact from taking screenshots of your profile pictures.
